Ellen Humpert
Ellen found yoga about 15 years ago while she was trying to unwind from hard-core triathlon training and racing and the mind-set that creates. She didn’t need exercise; She needed relaxation and balance both muscularly and mentally. Hatha, and later Yoga Nidra, have in many ways, been her salvation. Five years ago she trained to the 400-hour Hatha Teacher level.
She prefers to teach gentle asana, breathwork, and mindfulness that lead to inner meditative awareness that leaves goals, effort, and monkey-mind chatter outside the door and allows for losing oneself into the flow of non-thinking, non-doing, non-striving yoga.
